How long does a home EV charger installation take?
Most home EV charger installations take 3–4 hours to complete. Jobs involving longer cable runs, garage installs, or consumer unit upgrades may take a full day. We'll give you an accurate time estimate in your quote.
What is the OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant and can I claim it?
The OZEV EV Chargepoint Grant provides eligible homeowners with up to £350 off the purchase and installation of a home EV charger. To qualify you must use an OZEV-approved installer - which we are. We handle the grant application on your behalf as part of every eligible installation.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
Yes - we'll need access to your property and consumer unit during the installation. You'll also want to be present at the end so we can walk you through how to use the charger and answer any questions before we leave.
Which EV charger brands do you install?
We install Myenergi Zappi, Ohme, EO Charging, Wallbox, and the Tesla Wall Connector (as a certified Tesla installer). We only fit brands we sell and stand behind, so you get a single point of contact for both product and installation.
Is a 7.4kW charger right for my home?
For most UK homes on a standard single-phase supply, a 7.4kW charger is the fastest you can install and the right choice for the majority of drivers. It will charge a typical 60kWh EV battery overnight. We'll confirm the correct output during your consultation based on your home's supply and your vehicle's onboard charger.
